Who are we?

Boghnid, the Manx gaelic word for 'foolishness', are a group of traditional Manx musicians and dancers based on the Isle of Man. The group is built of accomplished musicians from many eclectic backgrounds. Bred in the Isle of Man, the group perform traditional and new Manx music.


The band love to perform and would love to hear from you about your next gig, concert or ceilidh!

What we can do

Workshops

We can offer dance and music workshops for anyone interested in learning some Manx dancing or music

Performances

We can offer a full set of dances and tunes for any scenario, be it show, festival or small gig.


Ceilidhs

We can put on a Ceilidh for any occasion. Your birthday? Yes. Your wedding? Yes. Business event? Yes. Your grandad’s 100th? double yes. we include a caller and dancers to help get the Ceilidh in full swing. we love ceilidhs.
